Impro Background

In 1975 Impro started life as a graphic design company and over the following ten years it evolved into the successful commercial printing company that exists today.
In 1991, Ernest Culley, who was already highly regarded in the print industry took over the company and drove it forward through exciting times of change and adaptation in to the era of IT.
During this period of expansion the company quickly outgrew its premises and subsequently moved to its present purpose built 10,000sqft. factory in Duncrue Industrial Estate, Belfast, employing a staff of over 25.
Impro invested heavily in modern technology, upgrading pre press systems and implementing a fully integrated print finishing suite to become a leader in this field. The majority of printing and finishing is also done in house and this combination meant that the company was able to expand into GB and ROI market places offering a wide range of products.
Impro attained ISO accreditation in 1994, retaining the award every year and we have also recently won the FSC stamp of approval. We have also been members of the British Printing Industries Federation since 1986.
